We are building around a narrow boundary.

The calculator uses assumptions selected by the visitor. It does not quote an available rate or predict approval. A potential partner match means the equipment facts fit the configured program criteria; it says nothing about the applicant’s creditworthiness.

Farm Equipment Finance is not a lender.

We do not make credit decisions, issue commitments, guarantee terms, or fund purchases. Applications, disclosures, identity checks, financial information, and underwriting documents remain on the financing provider’s systems.

The financing directory is a documented shortlist, not the whole market.

The separate financing directory compares a small, mixed set of providers that each have enough current public documentation to be evaluated on the same evidence. It is representative, not exhaustive: providers whose terms could not be traced to a live public source are omitted rather than described from silence, and categories with too few comparable entries are labeled a documented shortlist instead of a ranked best. See the coverage and threshold notes for scope.

The product is designed to minimize sensitive data.

Payment modeling needs transaction assumptions—not a person’s identity. Partner matching is designed around coarse facts such as state, equipment category, condition, modeled amount, and term. The optional purchase inquiry adds a first name and email so a real buyer can be contacted, but it does not accept free text or application and underwriting data. Read the privacy notice for current data handling details.

We expect commercial relationships to fund the service.

Farm Equipment Finance may receive compensation from an approved provider when a visitor chooses a disclosed partner path or completes a financed transaction. We may also charge equipment dealers for hosted calculator tools and reporting. No live compensation or provider relationship exists today: the homepage comparison prototype is clearly labeled fictional, and the separate financing directory is uncompensated editorial research with a public source behind every claim.

Compensation will not change visitor-entered calculator math. Before any live handoff, the site will identify the commercial relationship, explain the comparison criteria, and link only to a verified provider-owned destination.

Who runs this site.

I'm Trevor Carr, the founder and operator of Farm Equipment Finance. My background is in software and data products, and I'm accountable for the site's research methodology, source verification, editorial standards, disclosures, and corrections. The site does not present my opinion as agricultural-lending expertise; factual claims are expected to stand on dated public evidence that readers can inspect.

You can verify the operator identity through my GitHub profile and LinkedIn profile. If something here is wrong, the contact page reaches me directly.

Expertise here is cited, not claimed.

Every lender fact in the directory traces to a named public source with an observation date; figures that cannot be verified are marked unknown rather than estimated; and no fictional bylines or reviewer credentials are used. The methodology page documents how claims are collected, verified, and retired when their sources go stale.
