01 · Who
The publishing organization is Farm Equipment Finance.
Guides are attributed to the organization because no individual author or credentialed reviewer has been established for the current release. We do not create fictional bylines, imply professional credentials, or label automated review as expert review. Read more about the product’s role on the About page.
02 · Calculator method
The payment model is deterministic and visitor controlled.
The calculator subtracts the selected cash or trade equity from equipment price, adds the visitor’s estimated tax assumption, and applies a standard fixed-rate amortization formula over the selected number of equal monthly payments. At a zero-percent rate, it divides the modeled amount financed evenly across the term.
Automated tests cover representative calculations, zero-rate behavior, invalid input, rate comparisons, term comparisons, shared scenarios, and production rendering. The model does not include provider fees, irregular first-payment dates, balloon payments, leases, variable rates, or seasonal schedules.
03 · Editorial process
Each guide must answer a distinct equipment-planning job.
- Define the buyer or dealer question before creating a page.
- Add original calculation, checklist, comparison, or workflow value.
- Separate general planning guidance from provider-specific requirements.
- Prefer primary sources for laws, regulations, program terms, and technical claims.
- Remove or qualify claims that cannot be supported or maintained accurately.
Pages are not created from state or keyword templates merely to increase route count. A new page must provide a meaningfully different task, tool, or decision frame for the site’s intended farm-equipment audience.
04 · Automation and AI
Automation may assist production; it is not treated as evidence.
Software and editorial drafts may be developed with automation and AI assistance. AI output is not accepted as a factual source. Before release, changes must pass automated checks and a code-and-content review for calculation behavior, source quality, product boundaries, accessibility, crawl metadata, and unsupported claims.
05 · Partner and commercial boundaries
Commercial relationships cannot change the calculator’s math.
Partner routing is unavailable unless signed criteria, authorized destinations, and legal review are all active. A program match is never approval or a credit decision. If partner compensation or sponsored placement is introduced, it must be disclosed and kept separate from visitor-entered calculations and editorial explanations.
06 · Corrections and updates
Dates should reflect substantive review—not cosmetic freshness.
The visible review date and structured-data modification date are updated when calculation behavior, public guidance, source support, or product boundaries receive substantive review. Discovered errors are corrected in version-controlled changes with regression tests when behavior is involved. A public correction-submission channel is not enabled while contact storage and privacy controls remain intentionally unavailable.
